Birthday Recap

Hey, everyone!

I wanted to thank you all for the birthday wishes. I hope you'll all still come back and visit now that my brother has spilled all these secrets about me.

(But, just so you know, he's about to graduate from law school. So it's ok not to believe everything you read.)

Anyway, I had a good birthday. And so far, 32 isn't so bad. I don't know what I was expecting, but it's off to a pretty decent start.

I've just downloaded a new photo program that I am still learning to use, so I'll be posting a few pictures tomorrow or the next day. Once I get this thing figured out.

Oh, yes, and I downloaded this program to my brand new laptop!I've been saving up gift cards for the last two Christmases and birthdays to finally get a laptop. This year, Philip told me he was going to make sure that I could afford one after my birthday, between the cards I had already collected, and the couple of people that said they were planning to help out, so I was VERY surprised when he went ahead and picked it up so that I could open it on the actual day. I thought I'd have to wait a few days and watch for some kick ass sales. It was really awesome of him to do that ahead of time. Isn't he the best?? I also have to thank everyone else that contributed, which turned out to be my mom. So, thanks, Mom!

Anyway, so I've been playing with it like crazy all weekend. I don't have wireless internet access at home right now, but Spider Solitaire is lots of fun.

Now I have no excuses not to get this novel finished. Wait...is that why he keeps referring to me as "Sugar Mama??" Hmmm...

Back to work!

  5. You ARE a sugar mama! (In every sense of the word-ha ha!) Don't deny it! You go ahead and enjoy 32. I will do my best to remember the LAST EIGHT YEARS since I turned 32. Actually, that was the year my dreams came true - to be a mom and to have a little girl (ok, twin girls-twice as great!). Great things lie ahead for you. In the mean time, eat, drink, date, and be merry!
