New Weekly Feature: Karen's Blog of the Week

I have mentioned (and you might have noticed along the sidebar) that I read a LOT of blogs. Many, many blogs.

Oh so many blogs.

I love that the blogging world brings together people that will never otherwise meet. I love that when I have a hard day I can visit one of my fellow bloggers and get a good laugh, or read something that changes my perspective on my own situation. I love that I can find great deals on handmade jewelry or find a fun new recipe.

The possibilities are infinite. And that's why I love it here.

Over the past couple of months, I have been the recipient of a few awards from fellow bloggers and I love it. And I love passing them on. Because, as bloggers, we like to know that someone out there reads and appreciates our work, don't we?

But lately I've been feeling like I need another way to share the bloggy love, besides passing on these awesome and fun awards. I want to share with all of YOU the blogs I love and why I love them.

And so, with that in mind, I have decided to start a new weekly feature: Karen's Blog of the Week. I don't have a fancy button or anything like that (although if some creative person out there wanted to create one, I wouldn't be opposed). Sometimes I will feature one of my followers. Sometimes it will be a blogger I stalk. And sometimes it might be one that I have never read before that just has a post so amazing that it deserves attention.

It's my world and I can do what I want, after all.

And now I would like to present Karen's Very First Blog of the Week: The Secret's In The Sauce, otherwise known as SITS.

SITS is an online blogging community where women (and a few men) can find new blogs to read and new readers for themselves.

Started by Tiffany and Heather (the original SITS Girls!), they feature a blogger every weekday and encourage all of their followers to visit the FB and love them with comments.

In addition to spreading the news about fabulous blogs and bloggers, they are also a hub for all things giveaway.

It's an amazing community that I am proud to be a part of. Through them, I have found some wonderful internet buddies and have had the chance to broaden my readership as well.
