Blog of the Week: Kelli Moss!

I'm home. I survived the weekend. And I'll happily tell you all about it tomorrow.

But today, there is important business to attend to. That is naming my Blog of the Week.

This week, I decided to feature someone I know in real life. Someone that I love and adore. Someone who really needs to blog more.

I'm hoping that featuring my Utah BFF will encourage her to update her blog more regularly (hint, hint!).

But for now, the reason I chose Kelli's blog is because of her post about the media orgy passing of Michael Jackson. Kelli has been predicting his untimely demise for about ten years or so, and while she was not accurate in her April Fool's Day predictions, it's still pretty shocking. And so when she blogged about the impact he made on her life, I decided to throw a little bloggy love her way.

So go visit Kelli's blog and tell her she needs to post more!

And while Michael Jackson's death is clearly the only one that really matters to anyone this week, I just wanted to take a moment to ponder on the also sudden passing of Billy Mays. Without him, the world would be completely clueless as to the miracle product that is OxyClean.

  3. To be honest, Billy Mays death surprised me more than Michael Jackson. I guess because Michael has only been on TV for news related issues the last several years. But Mays was still doing commercials. And c'mon. He had a show on Discovery. It is a sad day for all compulsive cleaners.

  4. Don't forget about Farrah Fawcett. My post Friday was about her and Michael Jackson. Sad on all fronts. I'll visit Kelli's blog next. Thanks for pointing me in her direction. Glad you survived your crazy weekend!

  7. I liked Billy Mays and all his hollering, and even used him in a blog post not long ago about my scratching up the famiy car.

So, that's David Carradine, Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Billy Mays. A bit much death so close together as far a well-known figures, isn't it?

  8. It has certainly not been a great month to be famous, that's for sure. I hope that they all rest in peace.

  9. LOVE the tribute to Billy Mays. So funny!

I read Kelli's post about Michael Jackson and just laughed and laughed and laughed. She is so funny. All her experiences about MJ cracked me up. I especially loved the "triller" part. Shout out to QC!
