Group Blog Thursday: The Google Tag

It's Group Blog Thursday over at Stephanie's place! Today's topic is REALLY fun!

(They are ALWAYS great, of course. This one is just a little different.)

For today's Group Blog, we turn to Google Images and steal find photos to go with each category. I had a blast and I really hope y'all will join in the fun. Even if you don't post today, it could be something cool to do on a day when you don't know what to blog about.

(Although, really, you should do it today so that you can link back to Stephanie!)

Ahem.

Anyways, let's get this party started:

1. Your Favorite beverage:

I am a Coke addict. I love it. Regular, Diet, Cherry, Lime, Diet w/Lime. Love 'em all. It's way better than that Pepsi crap!

2. Your hometown:

I grew up in Chino Hills, California. And I remember when it used to look like this. Now it's covered in houses and shopping centers. Of course, the Barnes and Noble had to wait until I moved away.

3. Your favorite TV show:

I'm enjoying some of the new shows this year, but LOST is and will continue to be my favorite. Always and forever.

4. Your Occupation/You are in school for:

Currently, I spend my days wanting to do that. If you've ever worked in the Learning Center of a community college and tried to explain the vast and complex processes of turning on a computer, printing a document, or locating the restroom, you'll understand.

I went to college to study this

and this

5. Your first car:

I drove a few cars before this, but the first car I ever technically owned was a 1988 Ford Thunderbird with a sunroof and a smoky brown interior and a smoky white exterior. The old lady that owned it before me probably smoked about a carton and a half a day and the engine took up the habit, stopping at every red light to grab a few quick puffs.

6. Your favorite dish:

I love me some steak, baked potatoes and asparagus. Yum!

7. Celebrity you've been told to resemble:

I bear NO resemblance now, but when I was about 7, this neighbor kid insisted I was a dead ringer for Gertie.

8. Celebrity on your "to do" list:

There are many, but I chose one that's single.

9. Favorite Childhood toy

Who didn't love these as a kid?? You could make them into all kinds of awesome creations. I actually used them to make a weather vane for my 4th grade science project. Remember how my teacher hated me? Yeah, she didn't have much nice to say about that either.

10. Any Random picture:

And, because I can, I added a bonus.

11. What I'm doing tonight:

I'll be watching this:

and during intermission, I'll be running to check the score of this:

GO ANGELS!

  1. Great job! I watched Lost for a few months when I was dating someone who liked it...I never could figure it out. Strange show. I was watching during the time they found that computer with the countdown that they had to keep pressing the button on or...something would happen. They had no idea what.

  9. Honestly, I would have given up on Lost about 2 seasons ago, but I devoted so much time to it, I don't think I could. I'm actually glad it's the last season. I am over it.

  11. I forgot about Tinkertoys. My class has a whole bin of these, and they love them. The boys are obsessed. They have competitions to see who can build the biggest thing.

  13. You must have seen the movie 300 then? I would even watch a stupid movie with Jennifer Aniston in it because he is in it.

  16. This looks like fun but not sure how you get all the pictures. I never use google much and I thought it's against copyright laws to just grab pictures off the Internet and put them on your blog unless they're stock photos or people give permission. Am I wrong about this?

I wish those ballgames were on earlier--way too late for me to watch.

Found you through SITS, first-time visitor.
