Notice Anything Different?
It's done! My blog makeover is done!
Do you love it? Because I totally do!
I've waited a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time for this day. But it was worth the wait. It really, truly was.
MAJOR shout out to Susan at Blog Designs by Susan for the fantastic layout/design she created for me.
If you'll recall, back in January I paid WAY too much money for a design that never happened. The deposit for that design was more than twice what I paid for Susan's work.
Many of you told me to go to April Showers, and I immediately got a quote. I adore April and am a regular reader of her blog. But, a couple of weeks ago, it became very clear that she just didn't have the time to help me out. She is insanely busy. Awesome and talented and wonderful, to be sure. But insanely busy.
So I went on a hunt for a new designer.
One night, about a week and a half ago, I was randomly commenting on fellow SITSta blogs and found Thoughts from an Evil Overlord.
(AWESOME blog name, eh?)
Anyways.
I saw the tag for Elizabeth's designer, clicked, and liked what I saw. I immediately sent Susan an email asking what sort of turn around she's got going right now. She replied right away and told me that she was out of town but would email me the second she got back. And she seriously did. Last Thursday at about 11pm.
On Saturday morning, she had a draft for me.
Other than a few minor tweaks, what you see is pretty much exactly what she came up with the first time.
And I think it's PERFECT!
So, again, a major THANK YOU to Susan of Blog Designs by Susan for helping make my world a little bit brighter!
