And Black Friday, come to think of it.
My four-day weekend was fabulous and included lots of turkey, my first Black Friday excursion, a really good movie, and sleeping for 16 hours straight. Do I have to go back to work tomorrow?
Anyways, it's Sunday! And that means it's time for a new Blog of the Week. And this week's feature is: Cheap Therapy!
Like so many of the other blogs I follow, I found Jennee through SITS. It was the end of a very long day and I was looking for some new blogs to read, so I went to SITS and looked for the last person that had commented on that day's featured blogger. It was Jennee at Cheap Therapy. I stopped by her blog and felt like I had found a kindred spirit. Seriously.
Jennee lives in a small town in Ohio, and when she writes about how boring it is, she manages to make it sound interesting. Maybe that's just because I've spent most of my life in the rat race that is Southern California. She has weekly features: Travel Abroad Thursday and Satisfied Sunday that are always fun to read and she has just completed NaNoWriMo. (I'm a tiny bit behind...)
Anyway, despite the obvious differences in our life experiences and age, Jennee and I seem to have a lot in common. I think that's why, in such a short time, she has become one of my best blog friends. She's spunky and quirky and I think you'll enjoy Cheap Therapy as much as I do!

AHHH happy dance time! I am so excited (and I fixed my technical problem and have a real post up now...) I love it when bloggers recommend other bloggers! Not only does it promote camaraderie amongst us but you usually end up finding another fun read!
I, too, have survived the holiday. And I also experienced Black Friday for the first time! Hubby dragged me out of bed at 3:30 a.m. so that we could be at Sears at 4. I stood in line to pay for a $20 item for over 40 minutes, but it was all in the name of being part of the experience. I'm not quite decided yet if I'll go again next year.
Cheap Therapy is lovely. I can't believe the traffic you can bring in Karen! My "Blog of the Week" mention over here last week made my stats today look quite pathetic. You're quite the power-blogger!
I've really been trying to cut down on the number of blogs I read. Mostly to cut down on the amount of time I spend on the computer. But I really, really liked Jennee's blog and had to add it to my reader. Thanks!
