I'm a (not yet published) novelist who is just trying to enjoy the world around me. I have a full-time job, volunteer with a youth group and try to be the World's Greatest daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend.
This blog is about my life, my thoughts, and the crazy stuff I do. Like most bloggers, I crave comments and try my best to respond to them every day. Welcome to my world!

Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore--Um...Yeah...Don't ask.
Inception--This is my favorite movie of the year--so far. From the great acting to the amazing effects and action sequences to the ambiguous ending, this is the PERFECT summer movie. Christopher Nolan is my new favorite director.
Stuff I Just Watched From the Comfort of My Own Couch
Dexter, Season 1--AAAAH!! Loved it! Can't wait to watch the next season!
Dexter, Season 2--Nearly, but not *quite* as amazing as Season 1. Such a great series!
Shutter Island--Good acting, intriguing sets and story. But, I had the whole thing figured out long before the "surprise" ending was revealed. Although, I have to say that it was done well enough that I was okay not being surprised.
What I Just Finished Reading
The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins--Brilliant from start to finish, this series does not shy away from difficult topics, situations and issues. Suzanne Collins did what Stephenie Meyer could not: allow some of her characters to die for their cause. Mockingjay is heartbreaking and terrible and amazing and wonderful. I couldn't put it down.
Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris--As far as vampire books go, this is actually pretty good. Fun story, exciting mystery, and I love that the chick gets to kick ass.
