Group Blog Thursday: Spread Some Joy
Which is the point, because the topic is Spread Some Joy.
Today's challenge is to share a video that makes you happy. One that you can watch over and over and over again and that will always bring a smile to your face. It could be a song or a clip from a movie, or a commercial. Whatever you like.
I've been looking for an excuse to post this video here on my blog for a while now, but since I am NOT obsessed with underage werewolves, I haven't really found a good time to share it. Until today. Many thanks to Ryan and Sarah for posting this first. Without them, I would never have seen one of the funniest clips from SNL since...pretty much every time Justin Timberlake shows up:
(Just to warn you, there's about a 30 second commercial that will run before the video. It's about Haiti, I think.)
Just like Edward Cullen, this one never gets old.
And, heck. While we're at it, here are some websites that make me giggle whenever I'm in need of a little pick-me-up:
So go have yourself a laugh, see what brings smiles, and tell us what makes you happy. Head on over to Steph in the City and share in the joy.

I have to admit, I do like Taylor Lautner, but not in a creepy pedophile way.
ReplyDeleteI saw that one...I have to admit, I'm not a big Twilight fan. And Taylor Lautner looks creepy to me. Is that mean to say, in light of what Kristina said above? I find him...weird. I can see why he was chosen for the role, since he has a sort of werewolf look to him, but he just reminds me of someone you would have seen on Saved by the Bell or doing guest appearances on "very special episodes" of 90210 back in the day.
ReplyDelete"I want to bake cookies on his abs." LOL I hadn't seen that before, and you're right, it was great. Thanks for brightening my day!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna check out the links too. I love cake wrecks, but haven't seen the others.
I rarely get SNL skits anymore. I'm so far out of the pop culture loop. But I have seen the first Twilight and this skit is really funny. Thanks for the smile! :)
ReplyDeleteNotebooks are for notes, not for kissing.

All I have to say is this: Schweety balls. Schweety balls.
ReplyDelete"If those abs are real then that actor should win an Oscar or something." Classic. That skit is a hoot. Can't wait to check out these other sites.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now that I've wasted two hours looking at these various sites...I had to follow Sleeptalkin' Man. I was literally laughing so hard I had tears rolling down my face!
ReplyDeleteYeah:) I'm famous for being mentioned on the ever-popular Karen's blog!!! Well I should say Ryan is since he's the one that posted it. I'll just take the credit for being the Twilight obsessed girl that I am! This was a classic one for sure.
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite SNL's are the Celebrity Jeopardy’s with Sean Connery. ALWAYS hilarious!
Is this what fame feels like? Thanks for the shout out Karen!

ReplyDeleteHi following you from friday follow sorry I am so late- but I guess it is better late than never right?
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the SNL skits I was actually able to stay up late and watch...I thought it was pretty funny!
ReplyDeleteDid you happen to catch the skit when Taylor Swift was hosting SNL where they made of fun of Twilight, only it was Frankenstein monsters instead of vampires? It was hilarious. If you didn't see it, I'm sure you could find it on YouTube!
Thank You for sharing...I am going to show some of my friends...
