Karen's Blog of the Week: Endurance Isn't Only Physical
I enjoy spotlighting a blogger each week. Since most of the blogs I've featured also happen to be written by people that follow me, I get a little thrill when I see those expressions of surprise and honor to have been chosen. It's an amazing feeling to know that something I write here in my tiny little world could brighten someone's day.
And so, I am pleased to inform you that the tradition will continue through 2010.
(Or at least into 2010. We'll see how many weeks I can go before I run out of awesome blogs.)
(I'm guessing I'll run out of weeks first, though.)
I do plan on providing a brand spankin' new BotW button, just as soon as I create one or have one designed for me. Most likely the latter. My blog designer did such an awesome job with this site, I have no doubt she can whip up something fantastic.
But give me a week or two on that one.
Anyways, enough with all of that and on to my first Blog of the Week for 2010!
In honor of the fact that so many of us make resolutions and/or goals sometime around January 1st each year, and in further honor of the fact that a high number of those resolutions and/or goals involve losing weight and getting healthy, this week's Blog of the Week is: Endurance Isn't Only Physical.
I "met" Tricia recently and instantly felt like it was, somehow, meant to be.
This girl is an inspiration. Honestly. Last January, she made a decision that she was going to get healthy and start taking care of herself. And she's done just that. She lost 115 pounds using a revolutionary new program that I hadn't ever heard about: eating healthy and exercising. In the same day.
I know, right?
I love Tricia's blog. She's so positive and uplifting and happy. She writes about her story, her journey, and even throws in product reviews now and again. But what I love the most about Tricia is that she's been there. She gets it. And she did it.
I read, and even follow, a couple of healthy living/fitness journey type of blogs, but this one almost feels like it was written just for me.
But, since I'm a giver, I'll share it with you. So go check out Tricia's blog and tell her hello!
