I Do Know How to Show a Girl a Good Time

Here's a little peek at how I spent my weekend:

Well, that was Sunday, anyway.

For some reason, I took ZERO pictures at Disneyland. Oh, wait. I remember why. It's because my CAMERA DIED. Boo.

(Apparently, if you don't use it for a month, you still have to charge the battery. What's up with that?)

And then she went off without me on Saturday. Which sucked. What I had to do was fun, too, but I would SO rather have been at the Getty.

Sunday, we had a long list of things to do. Including: Venice Beach Boardwalk, the Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood & Highland, and Forest Lawn Memorial Park. We ended up pretty much just doing the first two, because the walk from Venice to Santa Monica Pier is long. Really long. Awesome and beautiful and totally crazy. But long.

We scratched Hollywood and the cemetery off the list on Monday before I had to take her back to the airport super early Tuesday morning.

Oh, and on Monday night, we did one other thing.

I don't know what we were thinking.

It sounded like a good idea at the time.

And I giggle every single time I watch it. I honestly can't get enough.

But...well...it's 7 minutes of crazy. Enjoy.

And now you know. I really am insane. You can go read what Jennee had to say about our little adventure by visiting her here.

  6. I'm sad there are no Disney pictures. I could use a little Disneyland magic today. Even if there is no Hunchback of Notre Dame attraction.

  9. You guys are so silly. I love it. I fixed the frame on the last post with Bradley, Justin, and Kevin.

I knew it was sized wrong and kept meaning to fix. So problem solved.

    Keep being great Karen.

  12. Hilarious.

I loved the bit about the graves. I'm sure that the not so famous people there were glad to get visitors. They probably don't get many visitors.

Or they get lots of visitors.. lots of lost people just like you.

And I'm sure the information lady couldn't tell you where the celebrities were because she doesn't know. Because it was her first day.

Also, Karen is right.. Jennee should be glad to see the not Hollywood sign because very few people saw that.

    You're different. Good on you.

  15. Looks like you guys had a great time! Made me a bit nostalgic for LA (which I hated when I lived there)! I've been to that beach and that pier! And I used to be able to see the Hollywood sign if I leaned way out my bedroom window.
