Karen's Blog of the Week: Dry As Toast!
It's Sunday AGAIN. Can you believe that happens EVERY week? Who knew?
Anyway, that means it's time for a new Blog of the Week, and this week's pick is: Dry As Toast!
Dorkys Ramos is the author of this fun blog and she is just adorable. Seriously.
Besides the fact that her life is basically a chick lit novel--
(You know...cool boyfriend, awesome shoes, fabulous life as a magazine writer in New York City...)
--she is just so positive and happy. I mean, honestly. She is a single girl that lives alone and yet, when she was recently laid off, she didn't whine about it. In fact, I don't remember reading a single negative post about the subject. Instead, she just put herself to work doing all sorts of freelance writing and just figuring out how to make the most of her circumstances.
I need to be more like that.
I think a lot of us want to be more like that.
Anyway, Dry As Toast is a fun place full of good stories, fun giveaways, and the occasional karaoke vlog. I love it and I just know you will, too.

Hi!!! You know what? I need to be more like our gal Toastie...I didn't have the best experience last night and I was kinda straddling negative, positive...and in fact, I am still struggling this morning, but...I am determined to make sure that little voice keeps it's mouth shut...off to see Dry Toast! If she's in NYC we may bump into eachother!
