Blog of the Week.....

Hello, friends!

I don't know about you all, but I am exhausted.

So exhausted that I decided to take this week off from my regular Blog of the Week post. It'll be back next Sunday with another awesome blog for you all to love.

Just a couple of other things. Don't forget to enter my giveaway for Sun Sauce Moisturizer with Sunless. The giveaway runs through the end of the month, so be sure to enter if you haven't already.

Also, I mentioned yesterday that I'm super excited about tonight's Academy Awards and I made my predictions.

Well. I went and saw The Hurt Locker yesterday and I am changing my predictions slightly. I say it's going to be a big night for The Hurt Locker and that it's going to win Best Picture. It was phenomenal. One of the best wartime movies I've seen in a very, VERY long time. The fact that it was directed by a woman is just an added bonus. And if she doesn't win Best Director, there is something seriously wrong.

That is all. Tune in tonight to watch the Oscars! And in case you miss it, I'll be posting my play-by-play of ALL the action. You're not going to want to miss that!

  2. Last week, on 60 Minutes, they interviewed the director (can't remember her name), and her ex, James Cameron. The movie looks very intriguing.

  3. I read something on The Hurt Locker online about how a lot of people who are in the service say its a joke, not a reality of how it is. However, I have a feeling there probably has never been a war time movie to truly depict how it actually is.

  5. I loved the movie The Hurt Locker. Is it factual? I'm not sure but I always use suspension of disbelief when I'm at the movies.

  7. Man, I really need to watch this movie. Why hadn't I heard anything about it before the Oscars came into the horizon? I'm so out of the loop over here.
