My confession is that this is the first year I'm spending Thanksgiving without my parents and I'm rather put out by the whole thing. Yes, it's my fault that I have a shitty job that requires me to work at 3am on Black Friday, but they're my PARENTS. They don't need to go to Vegas to see family for Thanksgiving! /rant. Yes, I'm being a spoiled brat here, but seriously? Thanksgiving is the only day of the year I'm guaranteed to see my family, and it's being taken away from me this year. Parents = fail.

My confessions are:
The year we were going to celebrate Thanksgiving in our brand new house it was going to be such a memorable day. Just us and the kids, beautiful table and decorations. Wonderful food and my famous delicious rolls. Well, it was memorable alright. I didn't put yeast in the dough for the rolls and that Thanksgiving is fondly remembered as the year we
had hocky pucks for dinner rolls.
The other confession is the year YOU were here for Thanksgiving dinner, I FORGOT to make the stuffing. Sheesh. I hope you didn't hold it against me all these years!

ps--The rolls this year are FABULOUS! I made them today and they are nummy! I should remember to make the stuffing. Everything is setting out on the cupboard!

Ok. I have a really big confession. Huge and mind boggling. I have never cooked a turkey. And I would have no clue how to even begin.
