Stuff I Just Watched From the Comfort of My Own Couch

Midnight in Paris--LOVED it. I'm a fan of Woody Allen's movies and I know a lot of people aren't, but there is something so sweet and delightful in this film about modern-day American writer, Gil, who spends his evenings cavorting around 1920s Paris with Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Picasso, Salvadore Dali, Gertrude Stein and others of his own icons. It's funny and charming and delightful and I highly recommend it.
Moneyball--I'm a sucker for a sports movie. Especially one about baseball that stars Brad Pitt. And features the Oakland A's not being awesome. Really enjoyed this true story about a semi-unsuccessful experiment that changed Major League Baseball forever. Good performances. Good story. Good writing and directing. Good movie.
